This sample demonstrates the difference between regular animations and FlexiMotion.
Regular Animation | FlexiMotion |
---|---|
Normally, an animation will only give fixed motion for each part of a character. | FlexiMotion dynamically simulates motion of objects (usually an animated character's bones) based on movement of their parent objects. |
In this case, the animation doesn't even include any motion for the hair so it moves rigidly with the head. | This allows the hair to react realistically to the movement of the head as well as the movement of the character throughout the scene. |
It also demonstrates the importance of the Action On Disable field in the Inspector of the FlexiMotion
component.
